Look at this headline: "Rapper Faces Death Threats in Iran Over Song". The headline clearly implicates Iran (or the Iranian government) over the death threat. In reality, the death threat came from a website that is NOT even based in Iran. My understanding is that the website which carried the threat or verdict is based in the Gulf and not in Iran. But you know how the Times works.
