Diana, a Syrian reader, sent me this: "I'd like to comment on your post of today "Critisim of Haytham Al-Manna' ": In
the quoted interview (most likely his latest appearance on Al Jazeera's "Hadith
Al Thawra"), Haytham Al-Manna' said that the recent bombings in Damascus can be
perpetrated by either of two sides: a governmental side or a skilled group that
has experience overtime in organizing such atrocity. The person you quoted
directing his/her critisim to Haytham Al -Manna' for no aparent reasoning
eliminated the possibility of Haytham emplying accusation of jihadi/salafi
groups, which he often refers to in his analysis of the Syrian conflict, and
whose involvement in Syria is increasingly being admitted, even by the least
trustworthy governments (ie. for example Leon Panetta of the US Defense
department a few days ago)."
