Human Rights Watch praises US policies toward Bahrain

If this does not discredit Human Rights Watch's work on the Middle East, nothing will:  "Tom Malinowski, Human Rights Watch’s Washington director, recently returned from Bahrain and praised the administration’s quiet efforts to force the government there to seek a peaceful solution."  Does Human Rights Watch also support a quiet approach to Syrian repression?   Or do they resort to criteria that conform to Israeli policies?
