This segment of Sarkozy shows the extent to which he is trying to woo the supporters of the National Front. But watching the debate, or most of it, I must confess that the debate is much more policy-oriented than US presidential debates. The process in France and the US requires individuals who are really informed of foreign and domestic policies. We don't have that in the US, possibly with the exception of Obama and Richard Nixon, both of whom uncharacteristically could speak on both realms. (thanks Jerome)
