Blanford's sources

When I read Blanford citing those sources:  "according to imagery analysts and European intelligence officials who first noticed the unusual hillside markings in 2008", I read: Israeli intelligence sources told me.  Also, Mr. Blanford: are those same sources who arranged for Hizbullah suspects to appear before you (oh, wait, initially you said before you according to the byline and later you said before a colleague of yours that you did not even meet)? (thanks Asad--not me)
