Anti-gay

"A homophobic rant published in a prestigious Lebanese university's weekly came under fire from a local gay rights group on Friday.  American University of Beirut's (AUB) weekly publication, the Outlook newspaper, included an article by staff writer Mohamad Sibai which said homosexuality was "disturbing" and "people are not born homosexual."  In an anti-gay diatribe, Sibai also associated homosexuality to sexually transmitted infections and evoked religion to justify his argument."  I am proud that Al-Akhbar is the ONLY Arabic newspaper that highlights and condemns homophobia.  (thanks Mohammad)
