US Senators

I don't watch US TV news: I only get to see them when I am on the road.  I mean, in France or the UK, you get to see impressive individual politicians.  In the US, I never ever see one damn US Senator who is impressive, and who can speak intelligently on foreign affairs.  What a bunch they are.  They all speak in the cliched language that you expect from US politicians of both parties.  I mean, have you heard them discuss Syria?  One guy was calling for arming Syrian rebels, and the other says: there are bad guys there.  That counts as intelligent discussion on foreign policy in the US.
