Mali

I heard on the BBC yesterday that Western governments "can't" allow the rebels to secede in Mali.  It said that Western governments are worried about the precedent of splitting from a sovereign country.  The West? Same Western governments that have struggled for years to fragment Sudan to establish a new state headed by war criminals (just as Bashir is a war criminal in the north).
