Ethan Bronner to the rescue. You guessed it: Günter Grass is declared to be anti-Semitic by the New York Times

" placing Israel and Iran on the same moral plane, echoing language and themes that have long stirred anti-Semitism".  Just like that.  So if it is not anti-Semitic, it contains language and themes that have long stirred anti-Semitism.  So if you bring up Israel's nuclear weapon, that would echo "language and themes that have long stirred anti-Semitism"?  Is there no limit to the dumb services to Israeli military propaganda? How vulgar is this exploitation of anti-Semitism for political purposes? And what does it do to the real cause of combating real anti-Semitism?
