Democracy Now has a scoop: Asad has been overthrown

I am told that Democracy Now has been indistinguishable from mainstream Western press in covering Syria, and they have even put on Lebanese Hariri columnists to speak about Syria--kid you not.  I won't be surprised if Democracy Now starts putting on Saudi princes to speak about Syria.  Here is a scoop on Democracy Now from a journalist whose previous work appeared in the New Republic: what a scoop for Democracy Now:  ""Well, on the ground, the revolutionaries have actually set up pretty robust
alternative governments. I mean, they’ve overthrown Assad." (thanks Stanley)
