Ben Bella

He was a decent man, from what I hear.  I grew up in a Nasserist home and my parents liked and admired all friends of Nasser.  So I assumed (as a child) all along that Ben Bella is a great man.  I could not wait for his release.  When he was released from jail, and when I heard his first interview, it was the biggest disappointment ever.  He is the least inspiring and most boring speaker and conversationalist ever.  I really really never heard a more boring man ever.  No wonder he did not last in power: he bored his comrades in Algeria to death.
