Today, I was able to listen to BBC interview with a protester in Bahrain. What a difference, compared to their interviews with protesters in Syria. In Syria, protesters are allowed to speak and call for arms and NATO intervention and they can say whatever they want, even if their claims (fighter jets over the skies and bombing, which later prove not to be true, etc) are not substantiated. With Bahrain protesters, BBC treat them like a prosecutor would with a hostile witness. And when the protesters described what happened, he was interrupted by the anchor and admonished for taking advantage of Formula One to protest. It was quite a show. Also, BBC is so keen on reporting the views and statements of Bahraini royal officials.
