US Congress now wants freedom in Egypt

Look at this lousy US Congress: they created this new rule only to pressure the Egyptian government on the damn treaty with Israel.  "the administration plans on sidestepping a new Congressional requirement that for the first time directly links military assistance to the protection of basic freedoms."
