Syrian regime TV

Resumed watching Syrian regime TV (academics don't like to say watch TV or movies, they say "monitor" or examine), since my return from Michigan.  Today, I watched as a kooky "expert" went on to talk about Jewish thought and the Talmud.  I failed to see the connection.  As bigoted as the man was, was not clear if he was implying that the Dir`a kids were inspired by the Talmud.  Another speaker said that the Washington Post had a headline that said:  "Asad will now announce final victory."  I kid you not.  I mean, the amount of lies in Syrian regime media is only matched by the mount of lies in Saudi, Qatari, and Syrian Ikhwan opposition media.  I can't take it, damn it.
