"Some reports received by Human Rights Watch indicate that in addition to armed groups with political motivations, criminal gangs, sometimes operating in the name of the opposition, may be carrying out some of these crimes." Did you notice how Human Rights Watch was so nervous and hesitant to release this report, and how it was at pains to soften its impact and it merely asked the Syrian National Council to express displeasure without noting that the SNC now has a joint command with the Free Syrian Army? And what are the "some reports"? And if you wish to qualify your report by suggesting that criminals were committing crimes in the name of the opposition, is that no the line of the regime about its own crimes?
