The Guardian apology

I must confess that the Guardian apologized about characterizing me as pro-Asad after they received a letter informing them (with evidence) that their characterization would fall, under British law, in the category of libeling.  I did not write to the paper and I thank those who wrote on my behalf (and on their own initiative) as I slept.
