So the Guardian published those emails allegedly sent or received by Bashshar and his wife. But I notice this: no one has mentioned that those emails have been banded about for a while now and published on Syrian opposition websites. Why the sudden discovery by the Guardian? Secondly, since they are lame and boring and banal (and Bashshar as dictators go is quite boring), Saudi media outlets were not satisfied. So the website of one of the lowest forms of yellow journalism, Al-Arabiyya TV (the news station of King Fahd's brother-in-law, as if the owner's name is not enough to induce vomit) has a headline that Asma' Al-Asad talked about slitting the throats of opposition members. Did I miss something?
