Logic of supporting the Syrian regime

I get on my Facebook young supporters and opponents of the Syrian regime.  They battle it out daily on my wall, and I don't get to read much of what they say, given the volume. But one argument I read by supporters of the Syrian regime is that the regime can't be bad because it is opposed by US, Israel, and GCC countries. That is bad logic.  The US opposes the North Korean regime and it is a bad regime as well.  Also, it is questionable whether Israel opposes the Syrian regime.  I still maintain that the Israeli entity prefers the preservation of the regime.
