I still like Haytham Al-Manna` and I respect his sincerity. I don't agree with everything he says. But he was clear about the destructive sectarian role of the Gulf regime and their instigation of sectarian conflict in Syria. He also blamed the regime for the absence of a cease-fire in Homs: and said that his group (the coordinating committees) negotiated a cease-fire in Homs (and that the various elements of the fighters including the Salafite faction--for those who still deny that Salafites are actively involved among the armed groups in Syria) but that the regime refused to respond. He also attacked the promises of the Syrian National Council and their excited calls for foreign intervention.
