Dumb propaganda

"Their activities were said to have included infiltrating demonstrations to photograph Syrians opposed to Mr. Assad and then transmitting the images to Damascus".  Let me get this straight: tens of thousands of Syrian are protesting in Syria and defying the government and its bullets, but the Syrian government is keenly curious about who is protesting against it in Germany?  I mean, these days I am only getting dumb--very dumb--propaganda on Syria: from supporters and opponents of the Syrian regime.
