A Syrian with a Scottish accent

After my talk at the University of Glasgow, a Syrian student asked me a question about Syria.  After he was finished, I had to say this:  Are you from Syria, I asked? He said: yes.  I said: I have to admit that I was distracted a bit during your question (which I will answer), but I am very amused to hear an Arab speak with a thick Scottish accent.  I told him that this should be on Youtube.
