The new Tunisian president, Munsif Al-Marzuqi, was asked about whether Tunisians have inspired the whole Arab world. He said, no, and added that credit should be given to the Palestinian people through their various successive uprisings. I salute him for that. But then he offered words of praise for Islam-as-the-solution. And for that I don't salute him. Secular Tunisians were furious for that statement.
