Syrian regime military maneuvers

More than anyone, I have been most disgusted with the Syrian regime's military maneuvers.  They have even engaged their navy into those exercises.  Israel has been bombing deep into Syrian territory when the lousy Syrian regime has not fired one shot in defense of Syrian land.  Only now has the lousy regime seen fit to flex its military muscles? And against whom? The defenseless population?  I mean, the regime used to say that they are waiting to determine the "place and time of the battle with Israel".  Now they don't even say that.
