Sadiq Jalal Al-Azm: from attacking religious thought to attacking a sect

Shame on Sadiq Jalal Al-Azm.  I am never ever defended Adonis or his political choices or expressions.  Yet, look at this lousy interview with Al-Azm in the mouthpiece of Prince Salman and his sons: he attacks Adonis for his "revived Shi`ism", when Adonis has been an atheist for years and his book of poetry Aghani Mihyar Ad-Dimashqi may be the most daring contemporary attack on God in Arabic.  It is fitting for the new and improved Azm to attack the alleged Shi`ism of Adonis in a Saudi royal newspaper.
