did people notice?

Saudi Arabia expresses interest in nuclear weapons, and there was no reaction in any part of the world.  Notice that Israel did not even bother to react.  Why would they?  "Saudi Arabia may consider acquiring nuclear weapons to match regional rivals Israel and Iran, its former intelligence chief Prince Turki al-Faisal said on Monday."
