Syrian Regime TV

There is always a current of Arab mashriq racism against Arabs from the Gulf.  I am seeing that in all the pro-Syrian regime media in the Arab world.  There is now a reference to Gulf Arabs as "`urban", which is a pejorative word that stems etymology of the classical Arabic word for Bedouin, on all Syrian regime TV programs and print media.  I saw that on Dunya TV yesterday repeatedly.  A caller (who seemed regular on one show) even weighed in with blatantly racist references to the color of the skin of Gulf Arabs.  Pretty disgusting.
