Nada Bakri on the attack on Ba`th headquarters

"The raid could not be independently confirmed because Damascus has banned most foreign journalists from entering the country."  So Bakri has a long article on the attack on the Ba`th Party headquarters in Damascus but then adds this qualification.  Yesterday, New TV air video footage of the building showing no damage whatsoever.  But I bet that "activists" informed Bakri of this.  I wonder if the New York Times would ever accept allegation against the Zionist regime of Israel on the bases of claims by Palestinian activists.
