Maya in Jadaliyya

I briefly wrote on the case of Alia, the Egyptian blogger.  Several of my feminist friends disagreed with me. So I am posting the article by comrade Maya, although I disagree with her.  I don't know how Alia started a "conversation" when all I see is sensational and sleazy attention and coverage.  I don't see evidence of conversation.  I don't see the battle for sexual liberation being advanced at all.
