Ian kershaw

Kershaw in his Popular Opinion and Political Dissent in the Third Reich makes a stronger case about German attitudes and lethal indifference than the thesis by Daniel goldhagen. The book is now in a new edition and is a great read. He is not an apologist for the German people as a crude writer may suggest but argues that their indifference made the holocaust possible.
