Covering Egypt

Notice how restrained the Western media are in covering Egyptian regime crimes.  Notice how the victims are not accorded the same treatment that even the Syrian military opposition force receives.  Notice that the spokesperson of the US State Department yesterday called on restraint on "all sides".  There are two sides in Egypt: the civilian protesters and the military regime.  The US State Department would never call for restraint in the case of Syria even when there is now a military revolt involved on the part of some (by no means all the protesters).  Western media serve propaganda services to their government and on example is their coverage of clients of the US, especially when there is a peace treaty with Israel.
