Congratulations on another Lebanese failure

I am thrilled that Lebanon lost in the silly web-based competition for the new wonders of the world.  Jeitta Gretto lost and I can't be happier.  The Lebanese made such a big deal out of the silly event that I really urged people to vote for other "wonders".  The beautiful part of the whole thing is that Lebanon was so mobilized for victory and Lebanese army and security services were called on to vote numerous times and the Lebanese president sent his son-in-law to officiate at the celebrations outside of the Gretto, EVEN BEFORE the announcement of the results.  It was beautiful to watch the announcement of the results while celebrations and balloons were in the background.  Don't get me wrong: Lebanon still has wonders: biggest Hummus dish and one of the most savage of civil wars.  And there are always Lebanese "doctors" who announce once a week that they have "invented" a cure for cancer.  I wish to officially thank all those who did not vote for Jeitta (except the members of the Israeli usurping entity who did not have the right to enter in a contest between people representing unoccupied homelands.)
