This guy is an official nut

"French writer Thierry Meyssan said that the Qatar-based al-Jazeera channel was conceived by two French brothers: David and Jean Friedman , who hold the Israeli nationality."  Meyssan is an official nutcase now.  He is the guy who still insists that no plane hit the Pentagon on Sep. 11.  Al-Manar TV, which loves unsubstantiated conspiracy nut theories, is also peddling this story.
