Of course, I never ever bother about Nobel prizes. They mean nothing: it is a relic of colonial times. And the Peace and Literature prizes are the worst and most political. So a Yemeni woman, Tawakkul Karman, won the Peace Prize (with two other women approved by the World Bank). Tawakkul is active with the Muslim Brothers' branch in Yemen. I guess the White Man is making peace with the Muslim Brotherhood all over the Arab region. I heard her on Aljazeera: she is very articulate but cant speak a sentence without adding a note about non-violence. Now I know why she won the "courage award" from the US embassy. I may consider the utility of non-violence after the demise of Arab regimes AND Israel, but not before.
