US ambassador in Saudi Arabia

Oh, I am just wondering.  Since the US ambassador in Syria is making a point of visiting protesters, will the US ambassador in Saudi Arabia be ordered by his superiors at State Department to visit the protesters in Saudi Arabia?  Will he take flowers to the victims of beheadings in Riyadh?  Let us know.  Here is a tale of the heroism of Ford, the US ambassador in Syria, and the terrorist attack on him:  "But he was pelted with eggs and tomatoes by a pro-government mob when he visited an opposition leader in Damascus last month."
