I have always mocked the Western media reference to March 14 movement in Lebanon as "pro-Western." Well, the Hariri element in Tripoli yesterday held a protest rally against the Syrian and Yemeni regimes. Here is a picture of the rally from Al-Quds Al-Arabi (the portrait of Bin Laden was later removed and Lebanese media for some reason did not publish the pictures). The other kooky cleric's protrait is Shaykh `Adndan Al-`Ar`ur, a Saudi-based sectarian cleric from Syria whose influence is strong among the extremist sectarian elements of the Syrian opposition (not all the opposition, of course).

Portrait of Usama Bin Laden in Tripoli, Lebanon
