Maryam convoy

So a group of pro-March 8 women organized a trip to Aleppo the other day.  It was during their meeting with the Syrian Mufti that he came up with his threat of suicide attacks in the event of a Western attack on Syria and Lebanon (I don't know why he came up with this objectionable formulation and whether it came up in his mind or whether this is an official threat.  This guy gave an effective speech upon the murder of his son, and I feel that the regime is rolling him up for extra effect and for more speeches.  He has the ability to speak and make his voice quiver as in emotional intensity and that seems to get viewers or listeners).   But the New TV report about the visit by those supporters of the Syrian regime in Lebanon was obscene.  To be sure, Aleppo looked under normal conditions (although the correspondent of New TV courageously reported that Mukhabarat cars accompanied them everywhere and that an interview was removed when a guy they encountered expressed criticisms of the regime).  What was obscene is that the women in the convoy decided to organize a party with dance and music: people are dying on the streets of Syria and those pro-regime visitors thought it was convenient to hold dabka dances in Syria.
