Artin Afkhami

I don't want to hurt Artin's journalistic career, but he has been writing on Iran at the New York Times.  Artin was my student at UC, Berkeley and was one of the very top students.  I have a very high opinion of him and hope that the New York Times' standards would not hurt his health and sanity.  I felt his deep knowledge and interests in the Middle East would certainly take him to a career in Middle East affairs.
