I am watching Syrian dissident academic, Burhan Ghalyun, on Aljazeera. He was quite uncomfortable. He clearly is not comfortable with the slogan of "international intervention" in Syria. But he was nervous when he talked about Arab intervention: he mentioned Egypt (the new Egypt) and then said that they trust Egypt and (he wavered and hesitated) before he mentioned Gulf countries. The Burhan Ghalyun of his books, would not be comfortable with Gulf regimes.
