An American liberal explains the political behavior of Arabs

People around the world should know that Richard Cohen is a "liberal" by American standards.  They should also know that this liberal had called for jewelry store owners in Georgetown to refuse to allow young African-American males to enter their stores.  So he has a long history of racism.  Here, he explains Arab public attitudes towards Israel:  " It’s not just that Israel is not loved, it’s that Jews are hated."  If this is the "left" in the US, do you really express surprises at the pronouncements of the Right?
