US and Arab opposition

I say this with certainty: the US government does not meet with any Arab opposition group unless it receives assurances regarding their stance toward Israel.  Of course, some Arab opposition groups lie in order to get to the meeting.  Ahmad Chalabi promised the US to work for normalization with Israel after the downfall of Saddam.
