Saudi propaganda and unintended humor

Jihad Al-Khazin, has devoted a lifetime to peddling propaganda on behalf of Saudi Arabia.  His career took off in the 1970s, when he was selected to give a daily press briefing (sprinkled with jokes) to the vacationing King Fahd.  Whenever he defends Saudi Arabia's government (which is his job), he always adds: I am not writing this in defense of Saudi Arabia, but....  I find that very hilarious.
