Kuwaiti press

Some of the worst yellow journalism is the Kuwait press.  Kuwaiti press was largely managed and edited by Palestinians until 1990.  Remember that Ghassan Kanafani and Naji Ali worked in the Kuwaiti press.  It was vibrant and courageous and professional.  All that ended in 1990 when the royal family and its cronies too over the press and hired Lebanese tools to do the work.  It is now one of the most irresponsible and unprofessional press in the world.  Take As-Siyasah newspaper: it is by far the most political sleazy and most unprofessional newspaper there is.  No exaggeration.  Ahmad Jarallah is to journalism what Muhammad Dahlan is to resistance, or what Sa`d Hariri is to Hegelian philosophy.
