FLASH: Al-Akhbar in ENGLISH

I am now at liberty to announce it: we are now mere days from the launch of Al-Akhbar English.  There is a site already but it is for private in-house use only.  It will be up and running days from now.  I am very excited about this as there is a need for a courageous Arabic paper in English.  I have accepted an offer to write two exclusive blog posts for the site per week, and may write more later.  Two leftist professional comrades, Mansour and Hicham are managing the project.  I have high hopes.
