Email threats and Zionist hoodlums

Look at this story:  "Syrian Marah Bukai said she received a death threat via email from an unknown individual two days after she and fellow dissidents Radwan Ziadeh and Mohammed Alabdalla met with Clinton at the State Department on August 2. Bukai told AFP that the FBI is investigating the email, which she said was re-sent to her Monday."  I mean, those of us who write against Israel and Zionism have received quite a bit of hate mail and threats but I guess that is not worthy of FBI attention.  When we receive such emails, does the US government call the Israeli embassy and put them on notice?  Do they investigate their role?? Just wondering.
