Divisions in the Syrian regime

This is a very weak article.  It is part of the heavy psychological operations that will fill US newspapers.  The economic situation is limiting what US can do around the world, so heavy use of propaganda and verbal bluster will increase.  This article is entirely based on chatter of US officials hoping to achieve what they hope for.  The only evidence provided is the press conference by former Minister, Muhammad Salman.  But Salman is a very corrupt official with very close ties to the regime and Syrian dissidents think of this step as part of a charade by the regime.
