A Syrian dissident living in Syria points out to me that Syrian Muslim Brotherhood is more present in the exile opposition than in the inside opposition, especially that the regime has arrested many of "the recently active". She agrees that they are very prominent and visible among the Syrian guests on Aljazeera and Al-Arabiyya. But she maintains that only very old Ikhwans were left in Syria by the regime. She also tells me that Ikhwan are still connected through families in Hama and Jabal Al-Zawaya but not in and around Damascus or in the Hawran.
