Nabil Al-`Arabi

I am told (from most reliable Gulf source) that prior to the sacking of Nabil Al-`Arabi as foreign minister of Egypt, he was summoned by GCC governments and was rebuked for his statements on restoring relations with Iran.  Tantawi replaced him shortly after that episode.
