Khaddam and Hamah

Al-Arabiyyah's Hasan Mu`awwad (he used to work for the BBC) did an excellent job in the interview with `Abdul-Halim Khaddam.  At one point, he asked him about the crushing of the Hamah revolt in 1982.  Khaddam said it was a different situation.  He justified oppression when he was an integral part of the regime.  Do you want me to find you statements by him from the 1980s justifying the massacre there?
