Incendies

I don't understand the acclaim for the movie, Incendies.  I found it to contain disturbing thoughts and twists. It is an exploitation of the war situation in Lebanon, without offending anyone in particular--certainly not Israel, as the word was not mentioned once (there was a reference to the "invasion" as if it was from outer space).  The Arabic names in the movie were so corrupted that they did not even sound Arabic.  Let us see a Canadian movie about the exploits of Canadian occupation soldiers in Afghanistan instead.  Arabs in the movie come across as barbarians.
