The ignorant fabrications of Christopher Hitchens

What do I expect from a man who, in my opinion, invented the story of meeting Abu Nidal in Baghdad in a cafe.  Abu Nidal never sat in cafes, of course.  Look at his recent fabrication:  "It seems safe and fair to say that the flotilla and its leadership work in reasonably close harmony with Hamas, which constitutes the Palestinian wing of the Muslim Brotherhood."  There are Marxists and anarchists who are on those boats, and this McCarthyist tactic to defame the activists drips with blood: this is a precursor of what could happen.  A pre-emptive justification of the murders of unarmed civilians.  What an end to a career, by Hitchens.  Those types who switch from extreme left to extreme right are not uncommon: I write about them in Arabic.  They get despised by their former comrades and are never trusted by their new allies.
